A huge congratulations to Vikki and Mark who completed a skydive on Sunday 12th June to raise funds for Step By Step School. They have been waiting to do this jump for two and a half years, so they were really pleased to finally get to do it and to have raised £572.80!
They completed their skydive at ‘Go SkyDive’ in Salisbury. After completing their initial training they got to skydive.
Here is what Vikki had to say about her experience:
“Up we went, 10,000 feet and the nerves really started to kick in! The next thing I knew I was hanging off the edge of the plane strapped to my instructor and then we were gone!
The free fall lasted 30 seconds and I fell at a speed of 145mph!
When the shoot opened we had a 6 minute descend back down to the base. My nerves had completely disappeared and I was completely overwhelmed at just how peaceful and beautiful everything was.
I absolutely loved every minute of this experience and for someone as cautious (and a total scaredy-cat) as I am, I am shocked at how much I want to do it all over again!”
