Our pupils are embarking on a virtual journey to cover the 874 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats, walking, bouncing, cycling, running, spinning – in which ever way they can. The parents and pupils are fundraising as part of an initiative to convert a derelict barn at the school into classrooms, a teaching room and a 6th form common, which our pupils so richly deserve. They will be covering their virtual journeys over a period of 6 months with the aim of raising £6,000. The pupils began their journey together on Friday 31st January, braving the weather to make their way around a marked out field, officiated by the Mayor of East Grinstead. We were proud of each and every one of them, well done!
