Step by Step School is an independent school based on the outskirts of East Grinstead for pupils aged 4-19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders.

School Business Manager – wanted for March 2019 £39,002 – £41,846 (0.92 FTE)

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated and ambitious School Business Manager  who has a proven track record of working on their own initiative on all strategic, operational and financial matters.
This is a key post within the school and the person appointed will be responsible for;
  1. Promoting the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the school’s learning objectives.
  2. Financial Resource Management / Administration Management / Management Information and ICT/Human Resource Management/Facility & Property Management/ Health & Safety Management of the School.
  3. Contributing to the strategic development of the school as part of the Senior Leadership Team

Speech and Language Therapist – Band 6

Working Hours: Full-time, 8.45 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:45 – 4:30 Fridays, 40 weeks over three terms.

We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic, creative and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated and supportive team. To provide Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT) at a specialist level to children and young people with autism within a school setting. Trainee Tutors: Starting salary from: £16,328 per annum  (Application pack)

Working Hours: Full-time, 8.45 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:45 – 4:30 Fridays, 40 weeks over three terms.

Support Assistants:  £7.85 per hour (Application Pack)

Working Hours: Full-time, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday, Part-time 10 am – 2:30  pm Monday to Friday, 40 weeks over three terms. Job shares are also considered.
