The Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011. The funding is provided in addition to any other funding from the Local Authority and is intended to help disadvantaged pupils to ‘close the gap’ and to raise attainment and improve progress.
Children who are eligible include:
• Pupils who have been registered for Free School Meals (FSM) at any point in the last six years
• Children who have been “looked after” continuously for more than six months receive Pupil Premium Plus
• Children of armed services personnel.
We have three pupils for whom we currently receive the Pupil Premium.
These funds are used to support learning e.g. purchasing assistive communication technology used to improve functional and social communication, to provide a range of sensory resources to meet sensory needs and facilitate learning.
In 2019-2020 the funding received was £ 4, 241 Please click on the link below to see how we used the pupil premium to support our pupils progress.
